OK, technically there is a #FirstClass in Vilnius-Mockava train, but you can't purchase a seat there in connection to buying a Vilnius-Warsaw / Krakow ticket. Bought separately the price is higher.

With a combination ticket, check the class of your car, since the difference is not too visible. There are no reservations in the 2nd class, so if someone is ushering you from your seat claiming they have a reservation, you are probably in the first class. I hear.

Oh, there's a #FirstClass lounge in Vilnius railway station! Entrance is included in first class tickets, but since there is no first class in my train, I should have bought it separately – at the same time I bought my ticket, so too late now. But it does look a good and affordable (4 €) way of spending the annoying 1,5 hrs between check-out and train departure.

ltglink.ltVIP Lounge in Vilnius Railway StationThe VIP Lounge is like a comfortable, modern, contemporary office on the way of a rushing train traveller. Here you will find private spaces for meetings and calls, comfortable workspaces, and cosy relaxation areas surrounded by flowers. There is also a self-service zone where you can buy hot drinks and snacks.

A quick pitstop at ÖBB #firstclass lounge in Vienna, where the whining family or a replica had also landed.

Nice pastry selection, soft drinks, coffee and an occasional fruit. Pretty good selection of #freestuff even though my wheat limit had been passed already. Comfortable surroundings.

I’m quite sure I have funded today’s interrailing just by eating.

So lovely and knowledgeable train people: when I look at trains between Glasgow and Edinburgh, some of them have first class available, others don’t. Is there any logic in it, and how can I quickly see in the app if first class is available in a specific train with tapping through the available tickets? And on the boards in the station?

Instead of lingering in the first class lounge in Stockholm, I took the earlier 7:24 train to Malmö. I was worried if I'd make it by public transport from Vikingterminalen, but I could easily catch 6:45 bus 53 from Londonviaducten, just had to be among the first to exit the ferry.

I even had time to get provisions and now I have to decide if I'll go for my lovely salad first or wait for the complimentary breakfast. Maybe some #freestuff coffee while I'm pondering.

Another "Interrailing through Switzerland" post: a long trip awaited me on Friday: I took the Glacier Express from Zermatt via Brig, Andermatt, Disentis/Mustér and Chur to Tiefencastel, changed to regional trains and ended up in Davos where I stayed for another two nights.

The ride on the Glacier Express was comfy and often scenic, but sadly the fog around the Oberalppass prevented me from taking pictures.

At Davos I tried cross-country skiing, which I havent't done since being a small child. After roughly 10 kilometers I felt my aching muscles but had lots of fun!
Of course there was also time for some winter hiking.

Hallo #GlobalTalk users! Is anyone interested in using a #FirstClass system via GlobalTalk? I'm hosting a FirstClass 5.5 system in my zone BabCom which can be used via AppleTalk (the server is running on qemu).
I have a 10 user license, so ~8 GlobalTalk users are possible. If anyone has more licenses, I can add them :)
The FC system can also send and receive Internet E-Mails, so mails via GlobalTalk would be possible :)
That could be a nice addition for the upcoming #MARCHintosh
