Earlier this year, I had the occasion to design a new logo for the video sharing app @loops

Turning the play symbol into a Möbius strip-like design reintroduces the notion of “loop” into the icon. I also created several animated versions, playing with the infinite construction of the design, for various uses such as loading screens and video idents.

Fun Fact: Ausser, dass Flash für das iPhone sterben musste und nun alle mit hakeligem HTML5 Zeugs rumkrebsen*, sind die Anforderungen an der Werbemittelfront im Grunde exakt gleich geblieben, glaub ich.

#Adobe bietet jüngst mit After Effects neue Workflows, z.b. um 3D Content direkt in die Komposition einzubinden.

Tragischerweise scheint ein kommerzielles Pluginpaket ebendiese neuen Funktionen mit eigenen Regeln zum Umgang mit bestimmten Dateiendungen auszuhebeln.
Und das ist nicht deinstallierbar.
Und natürlich alles undokumentiert.

Darum drück ich mich seit Wochen drum herum, auf gut Glück das System deswegen neu aufzusetzen und vielleicht ist es dieses WE soweit.
