Also can anybody here recommend me a decent human being for designing a logo or Maikel.dev (company is Maikel OÜ)?

I always get shitty designs in Fiverr.

I want the logo to somehow transmit in an indie dev & systems admin specialised in marginalised and or lefty clients. I want MAGAs to find someone else.

About three weeks ago I asked #Fedihire for help. I needed a graphic designer. Multiple people got in touch with me. Fortunately for me, one of them was the very talented Jarrick: jarrick.nl/

Today I received the final version of the logo he designed for the Cyber Espresso. I'm really, really excited about how this turned out.

He really did more than what was asked, and helped me design one for light backgrounds, and one for dark. And so much more...!

This made everything so much more real, and tangible. So thank you Fedihire for actually working :-) and thank you Jarrick for reaching out.

🧵 Voxel-style 3D logo for the Technabob tech news site, made in the early 2010s.

The character was their 2D logo, derived from the 1980 Berzerk video game. They wanted to have a 3D version of it.

When it comes to logos I'm a proponent of clear 2D design, but the voxel style kept it minimalistic.

Earlier this year, I had the occasion to design a new logo for the video sharing app @loops 😊

Turning the play symbol into a Möbius strip-like design reintroduces the notion of “loop” into the icon. I also created several animated versions, playing with the infinite construction of the design, for various uses such as loading screens and video idents.

The logo is an infinite loop forming a rounded triangle play symbol, black on yellow.
