An innocent high school student? A mom who worked in a local restaurant? A church pastor? 
"We thought we were voting to #deport gang members." It was okay as long as it was happening to someone else.

#trump is floating an idea to give undocumented immigrants 1000 dollars to self #deport and I see a problem immediately nobody is talking about -
People would definitely grift that. They'd come back over and over for a free 1000! Use fake IDs or something.
Also how would you even implement this? Would they have to leave first? Would they come to you? Why wouldn't you just deport them with no reward if they did?

It is… "fascinating" (for lack of a better word) how much of #DonTheCon's policies AND popular support is drawn from #racism.
Think of all the #DayOne promises he made & failed to achieve: Bring prices down, end the war in #Ukraine, retrieve the hostages in #Gaza… etc & so on.
"Round up gang members & terrorists and #deport them" became: going after the low-hanging fruit of UNAdjudicated migrants already in jail & foreign-born protesters on college campuses.
AND THEY DON'T CARE.
