My bet? Given the Rust ecosystem, we would be months away of truly async, green threads, non blocking IO, and a complete performant web server implementation.

I want to run a light #webserver on a VPS to #selfhost my static website. Since it has low traffic and is quite light, I don’t need performance. I’m looking more for stability, security and minimalism. Now I’m quite familiar with #linux but never used #bsd (and I’m willing to learn this OS)

What would be the most appropriate for my needs? #freebsd or #openbsd

How do you conficure your web servers and manage their users and content for what? Or maybe completely different?
