By the time I get people on the latest versions, they are in an EOL trajectory.

Is using Valinor without a cache fast enough to ship it without impacting projects using my project (~1M monthly downloads)?I know it's recommended, but if I used e.g. `sys_get_temp_dir()` as a default, it would be a breaking change with read-only filesystems. 🤔
