My first drawing, using Procreate on my new iPad and Apple Pencil Pro.

Took me 3 weeks. Kind of proud of this.

Big thanks to @settern who inspired me to learn how to draw those many years ago.

I enjoy using Procreate the most for sketching. This is one of those cases and was my first try at drawing in Procreate. Somehow the execution is better than my more recent projects in Procreate which is confuzzling. Or maybe I just really like gargoyles!

These beautiful tentacular people are a peaceful species. On interstellar voyages, they always travel alongside their space slugs, creatures with whom they share the most intimate relationships.

After decades abandoned in the mangroves, LG2-Lemongrass became an expert on aquatic birds, snails and blue vines. You may find them roaming the eastern delta.

1. Vagabond son & DIL flew into town for a quick visit, & there will be family gatherings with grandkids & in-laws.
2. So grateful for texting! Even tho’ they both live across country, my twins & I stay connected with daily (very funny & rude) texts.
3. After a hiatus, I’ve returned to immersion in fascinating geology videos from Prof. Nick Zentner & others on YouTube. (I wish I’d known I loved this science in college!)
4. Bonus: I’ve not done much painting in watercolor, but had fun with this (not AI, done with Procreate from a tutorial).
