Tried another white ink sketch, obviously I'm not taking a long time over these I'm just trying to have fun but it's so effective. Sketch and drawing it's based on this time. Really struggling with not being able to do much sketching beforehand as it's super visible. I think I could do black ink and it would be easy to edit out if I was using it for something. #drawing #alien

An anecdote for #Caturday.

One day at the high school, we had a lockdown (not scary since we were told there was no intruder). Because their door could not be locked, the kids from the special needs classroom came over to join my Spanish students.

For an hour, we all had fun listening to music and drawing. One of the visiting students drew this cat, and he wanted to put the title in Spanish. We called it “The Fierce Cat,” and I put it on my bulletin board. 🐈‍⬛

Los insurgentes que se fortificaron en una isla en el Lago de Chapala resistieron ataques españoles entre 1812 y 1816. Lograron así gastar un montón de recursos virreinales, como el desarollo de un bello plano del lago que incluyó esta vista de lado. Se apuntan un quartel de armas, dos iglesias y la “Falua _Teresa_, prisionera.” La isla tiene 65 varas castellanas [54m] de altura.

Crammed into a doorway, between the night landscape outside and brightness within, an anxious assortment of strange beasties are wedged together. Some appear puzzled, others gleeful, most are simply curious. One bold orange creature leaps with abandon into the glowing space, joining several floating/flying books and strangely shaped objects. Their mysterious adventure continues...

Heya, I'm Blix. I came here from Tumblr because of the potential shutdown, but also to escape some of the annoying bots on there.
I enjoy folklore, mostly stories that involve monsters and mythical creatures. My current hyperfixation is the Lego Monkie Kid series and journey to the west. Sometimes I draw stuff (mostly OCs) for fun and only if I feel motivated. I guess the Squirrel OC is my sona in way.
