There’s just something about setting up a game of #WHFB that just makes me incredibly happy.
As it’s an over a video call game - I’m not even sure today is go time - but, I am just too excited not to get the armies out.
Assembled, primed, and zenithaled a Techmarine earlier (first 40K model made by me, FOR me in...38 years?) I'm sacking off the "they're always red" colour scheme, not least of all because I'm painting up Raptors.
"Dude. What's with the red armour?"
"I am blessed by the Omnissi-"
"Bro. You're gonna get shot two minutes into the mission, Lone Operative or not."
"The God-Machine will prote-"

Last night, my party "The Deep 6," currently running Call of the Netherdeep, ventured into the freezing Savalirwood on an intense side quest to hunt down elemental enchants for our Gunslinger's trusty pepperbox. Guided by Keg, the capable tracker we found at the Leaky Tap in Shadycreek Run, we faced a fierce frost salamander. Now we're gathered around a fire, resting, warming our bones, and preparing for what's next.
Friends, I must request your advice on a very important matter.
I just acquired this beautiful cabinet to display all my minis, foremost among them the majestic and terrifying Tiamat. Unfortunately the display case is currently unbalanced with her awesome power, potentially causing a collapse of the entire multiverse. What other other being should sit across from her to fill out the other door and once again bring stability to this realm?
Hey #MiniaturePainting peeps, how do you feel about the different paint #storage solutions and what different sizes of bottles do you end up with.
I'm finally working on getting back to it after *many* years, and am trying to prep and get set up. Aside from general #craft paint 59ml bottles I've grabbed a Vallejo bottle and one of the squat GW citadel base ones for reference.
Saw some #3DPrinting solution in a recent video, but I think I need to design my own.
narrator: he did not count on #COVID catching up to him after nearly five years of successfully dodging it.
When I was young, one manufacturer od #lead #miniatures made a séries of 12 #dragons an a plastic stone with a stand was packed with it. If you collected all #minis , you could build a circle with the stands and were entiteled to a 13th dragon.
I'm old and I think I'd like to finish, collect these. Anyone remembers the brand making these?
That was probably between 1985 and 1991
in more uplifting news, i have a giant pile of #battletech stuff coming in, ETA tomorrow! guess it's time to sharpen the brushes, this will be a *lot* of #minis to paint...

I got a lot of work done on the enhanced version this weekend. Depending on how the make-it-robust-for-average-machines-to-print testing goes tonight, it might get out soon.

This was a commissioned piece I did a couple of years ago of the former Oak Bay Theatre in Victoria, BC. No set scale, just based on photos I could find. Fully wired with LED & fibre optic system. It was a gift for the family of the original owner. All elements are hand crafted.
