Raider gunship.

Heavily modified Dark Eldar Raider for my personal army/collection.
The aim was to turn this into more of an attack helicopter gunship-like craft.

Additions include:
Adding an old-school Raider front end to a new body.
A more "science-y" power supply.
Wings for additional weapons.
and a crew of a goblin, Tyranid ripper and Space Wolf marine.

Lucius and his incredible giraffe tongue.
They redesigned his juice dispensers on the new model, but kept his tongue, I appreciate this.

I'm still very salty they made him ugly again, but at least not as ugly as his dad. Emperor's Children can't win with Games Workshop's sculptors, but as long as there's 3rd party designers making heads with beautiful faces, there's something I can do about it. 😊

Estos días he estado pintando (cuando el dolor me lo permite) y hoy por fin he acabado con este hombre de armas (a falta de la peana, que la decoraré mañana cuando se seque y lo subiré a mi cuenta de pixelfed).

Estoy bastante contento con el resultado, pero ahora lo comparo con los otros hombres de armas que pinté antes y me parece que los antiguos son... bueno, feísimos a su lado, y hay una voz en mi cabeza que me dice que tengo que despintarlos y volver a empezar otra vez para que queden todos más o menos al mismo nivel de pintura. Pero es que así no avanzo :( Esto es como lo de Sísifo.

Bueno, le he sacado unas fotos para que lo veáis. Me encantan estas miniaturas antiguas (35 años tiene el modelo) que hicieron los hermanos Perry en su día.

Miniatura de Warhammer de un hombre de armas bretoniano de la tercera edición del juego (sí, 35 años tiene esta miniatura), vestido a lo guerra de los 100 años con una especie de lanza, en realidad un palo con un pincho al final (lo estuve leyendo, era un arma para atacar a los caballos y desmontar a sus jinetes), casco, cota de malla, escudo y la heráldica es gris-azulado y blanco. De fondo hay un bosque talado.

Rescue Terminators.

So named and themed because these are ebay rescues.

These were cursed with too much glue, no mould-line removal, some sprue gates still attached, some broken off with some of the model, but no paint thankfully.

The rescue required sawing arms off, fixing areas with plasticard and making a feature of any damage as the results of battle.

I then themed them as a space hulk extraction squad and made custom bases.
