Nå ble eg endelig kvitt Google Pay, fordi #Vipps kontaktløs bare funker - som er helt nydelig.

Det har vært ett stort spørsmålstegn for meg de siste ukene, fordi eg har drevet med å #avGoogle (#degoogle på #norsk) Pixel telefonen min.

Eg har erstattet Google Play med #fdroid #aurorastore, varierende standard apps med #fossify, samt at eg har flyttet Google Workspace til en blanding av #Tutanata og #Proton.

Muligens eg lager en video for å oppsummere reisen.

Samsung, I do not recall consenting to you having a copy of every photo I took with my phone. This picture has long since been moved off of my device and onto other storage (thanks #SyncThing), and yet, here it is on my phone again.

I even thought I had disabled the default gallery app entirely, in favour of Fossify Gallery. But still your own app is running and sending me notifications --- of my late family dog, no less.

Fucking gross. Ew.

Det fantes en gang i tiden en samling apper kalt Simple Mobile Tools. Apper som bare gjorde det de skulle, ingen unødvendige tillatelser, ingen innsamling av data, ingen reklame. Så ble selskapet solgt til et reklamebyrå.

Heldigvis var de laget på åpen kildekode, så Fossify forket dem og har brakt dem tilbake.

Da mein Handy kaputt ging, versuche ich auf dem neuen ein paar alte Gewohnheiten abzulegen:
Mail, Kontakte, Kalender über #fdroid: #fairemail, #fossify-Calendar und #fossify-contacts. #Nextcloud hatte ich eh schon, um nach und nach meine alte Google-Email-Adresse abzulösen, die ich mir auf dem Handy nun gar nicht mehr einrichte. Auch #Facebook lasse ich mal bewusst runter, obwohl ich mich auf dem Desktop noch nicht davon trennen mag, weil es dort noch viele relevante Gruppen und Leute gibt.

Is there a way to connect the Fossify Calendar app to my email client (Thunderbird) so that when I get an invite via email it will automatically show up on my calendar?
