Dear #trainbubble - next Monday I will be departing for another risky experiment: start here in France and visit several places in Germany by train, with my "normal" (non-foldable) bicycle. In the current plan, 21 trains of all kinds in , some with and most without reservations, and the plan will certainly have to be adapted along the way.

Should I report my experiences and tricks as a here?

The nightrain from Bodø/Fauske to Trondheim (total journey was to be Tromsø -> Trondheim/Bergen) is definetely not going in June. So my options are either flying (brrrr) or taking a detour via Sweden (changing trains at Sundvall 4 a.m., brrr) or staying over night in Narvik (do that already on way North) or Mo i Rana.
Going by skip is too expensive and driving too tiring/expensive.
Any option I forgot?

Time and money budget are limited.

Kann ich auch mehrere Pässe (von unterschiedlichen Personen) in derselben APP aktivieren oder muss das jede Person separat machen?

Denn die App will dass ich für jeden Pass eine neue Reise Anlage. Und das irritiert mich doch. Grad beim Pass fürs Kiddo

hello #trainbubble - does anyone know what this means? Do they (europeansleeper) have no trains at all on those dates (although DB seems to believe they have), or are they fully booked and their web guys are incapable to say this clearly?

I have not followed the debate about them, but here is a trip where they would be useful for me...

Es gab doch so eine Möglichkeit, dass man seine Bahnreisen speichern konnte und dann von einer Firma sich einen analogen Kunstdruck anfertigen lassen konnte.

Ich hab mir das scheinbar nicht gespeichert, würde es aber für #interrail gerne nutzen.

Wir sind in den Osterferien wieder #nightjet gefahren, diesmal von/nach Brüssel. Ich hab mich davor gefragt, ob es alte oder neue Garnituren sein werden. Auf den Tickets steht "Comfort" (mit C), und die #OEBB schreiben selbst:

"Bei der Ticketbuchung erkennen Sie neues Wagenmaterial (Nightjet der neuen Generation bzw. Nightjet Upgrade) anhand der Fotos und der Abteilbezeichnung "comfort"."

Es waren aber in beide Richtungen trotzdem "alte". Nix mit feschem neuen Liegewagen. Der war sogar so alt, dass es deutlich nach uraltem Zigarettenrauch gerochen hat. (Die tragbaren Luftfilter helfen übrigens auch da!)

Ich bin jetzt gespalten. Einerseits bin ich sehr froh, dass wir planmäßig transportiert wurden, andererseits haben wir ja (vermutlich? Vergleichswerte gibt's ja nicht) höhere Preise gezahlt, weil es jetzt ja die coolen feschen neuen Züge mit dem höheren Comfort (mit C) sind?!

Soweit ich sehe kann, ist die Kategorie das einzige, was zählt. Wenn ich zB statt Schlaf- mit Liegewagen fahre, bekomme ich Geld zurück, aber fehlender Comfort (mit C) ist kein Erstattungsgrund? Weiß das jemand?

I've done an 8-hour #train ride with #DeutscheBahn #Allgäu -> #Brussels today and every single connection was perfectly on time.

Dear #trainbubble - I knew about the problem, but now it's acute. I need to reserve space for my bicycle on "intercité" trains in France in June, but sncf-connect won't let me do that. For each day I try there is a different error message "no trains", "no reservations possible".

By trial and error, I get the impression that May 12 currently is the latest date for which I can make a reservation for Narbonne-Bordeaux. On the other hand Bordeaux-La Rochelle can be done for later dates as well.

Does anyone know how to get around this and maximize the chance to get one of these rare places?

Hi #trainbubble I am still struggling with my upcoming adventure of travelling by train to #Lisbon.

As of today, it seems that one can happily travel between #Madrid and #Badajoz up to December 2, but no longer from December 3 onwards - which is what I need. Is this just a mess in their timetables, or does the connection really get cut off on December 3? #renfe

A Question for #trainbubble - do I really need to label my luggage on an SNCF TGV? I've never bothered for Eurostar and no one complained but I see it is on the ticket as necessary.
