Ich gönne jedem seine #Leica oder #Fujifilm #GFX100RF. Nur steht doch einfach dazu, dass die Kameras Euch Spaß bringen und vielleicht dadurch beflügeln. Ich glaube der meiste Widerstand kommt dadurch, dass Gründe für die Kameras erfunden werden, die sich objektiv einfach nicht halten lassen.

The #Fujifilm #GFX100RF might be one of the worst marketing stunts in a while. A "street photography" camera with a 102 megapixel sensor, a fixed lens (!) that opens up to just f/4 (!), without an optical image stabilizer, that can take just 4K@30 videos, for 5500 Euros.

The point where it becomes a complete joke is them trying to sell cropping as a "digital teleconverter". I can already hear the snobby hipsters abusing that term for the next decade.

It's funny how #Fujifilm fanboys try to do their best to talk the awful #GFX100RF up. They're more and more like #Leica fanboys who try very hard to find supposedly objective reasons why a camera is worth that much money. It's okay to love your overpriced camera. But don't invent reasons for it.

I was so excited when I first heard the news about the #Fujifilm #GFX100RF and probably wanted one. But now? Gez, it's ugly, the f-stop of the lens is ridiculous and the price for that stripped down GFX is simply insane. A really bad job by Fuji, but some dentists probably will buy it anyway ...
