Je viens juste de commencer The Silver Case de Suda51 et l'ambiance est pour l'instant tellement formidable: j'ai l’impression de me taper le film Kairo dans un jeu Playstation.

So, Kingsley's Adventure for #PS1 is a good example of picking a game to play on a whim. I saw the thumbnail, title screen, and a screenshot and I knew I had to play it.
It has a fox with a sword! How could I say no?!
Playing as Kingsley the fox, we are saving the fruit kingdom from Bad Custard, who has stolen the book of magic from the castle.
The game has a lot of charm. From the character models to the environment design, the music. All these things set you up for a good time... Until you start wrestling with the controls. Tanky control in a platformer is a choice I don't agree with. The jumping at times will be your biggest hurdle as it can be difficult to gauge distances.
If the controls don't turn you off, the game itself is a decent little jaunt. It's under baked in places, combat is basic, villages are populated by devoid of additional content besides finding the right person to talk to.
It wasn't a bad way to spend my Sunday.
What kind of #PS1 Morrowind Dagoth Ur Facility nonsense is this?!
If anyone recognises this location from a 1999 PlayStation game, I will be very impressed!
"I have always wanted to help create a video game that represented the reality and excitement of professional skateboarding."
- Tony Hawk, 1999
Today is the 25th anniversary of the first 'Fear Effect', originally intended to be named 'Fear Factor'. The game stood out for its action and horror elements inspired by Chinese mythology, its mind-bending puzzles, and its characteristic cel-shaded graphics. Whether you agree or not that it was "better than the Matrix", like the PlayStation Plus magazine claimed, it's a shame that the series didn't get the proper revival it deserved because it definitely has its devoted fans.
...3D polygon graphics.
The developers chose this technique because having full 3D graphics would not allow them to create graphically rich and detailed environments.
#RetroTrivia about the game consoles of our childhood
I was completely unaware of Charles Cecil #ZXSpectrum history. #BrokenSword was a big favourite back on #PS1
Think back 30 years: It's Christmas 1994
Which of these late '94 release titles would you like to find under the Christmas tree?

Grown-up kids, welcome!
While there were multiple consoles plugged into CRT television sets to try-out, I was fascinated mainly with game and hardware collections - clear case XBOX developer kit was on display, along with vast collection of Sony PlayStation consoles followed by game series
Had a super interesting chat with exhibitor - gaming enthusiast and hobbyist collector Gediminas Bartkus, who told more about last version of PS2 fat and first revision of PS2 slim on display, series of Resident Evil and my personal favourite - Need for Speed franchise. That is the 1st time I've seen that many old NFS discs in one place!
Also Mr. Bartkus endorsed Konami's Kaido Racer 2 for 2 as one of the greatest drifting games (predating and inspiring NFS Underground) where the right balance of certain car parts affected impressively lot - it was much more complicated than buying top performance packs
