Excuse me @leo I am listening to #SecurityNow episode 1035 (yes I’m a bit behind) and while Steve has clearly thought a lot about a reasonable, privacy-preserving method to perform age verification, it’s all predicated on an assumption of good faith that I don’t think exists.
Surveillance is the objective of this “age verification” push: so is blocking young people’s access to health information, political discourse, and anything about queer people.

I always suspected it, but I never thought that the host , Mr Gibson - is serious enough to entertain that Elmo could be of any help. Is Mr Gibson a Trumper? But he's so smart, you may say.. Well, apparently not smart enough.
He perhaps forgot that #cybersecurity industry is full of LGBTQ+ people and folk who openly fight against nazism.
Or should I chill my beans?

=> #ResilioSync have today been syncing the same test files (2 different folders with the same files) for about an hour now and is at 47 % so will be finished within about one more hour. So the difference in speed for many small files is _extreme_. Sad, since I would otherwise preferred @syncthing.
@syncthing is _very_ fast for large files though.
