But once the child is born, they have NO interest in continuing to protect that life.

No "food assistance". No "healthcare". And I'd add, "No interest in keeping guns out of classrooms." ("Here Ms. Crabapple. Stick this .38 in your desk drawer... just in case.")

It's not about "life". It's about *control*.
