#insekt #tier #frage

#fotovorschlag "insekten" "Hold on tight," I thought, when I saw this insect, because the wind was blowing and the delicate flower stem was moving back and forth and it had to stay there for a while, because a sharp photo could only be taken with a tripod. I have no idea what kind of insect it is, but it has a beautiful color. #insect #insects #photography #macro #macrophotography #macroinsect #macroinsects #fotografie #insekt #insekten #fediphoto #fediphotography

Meldet es im iNaturalist-Projekt „The hidden life of Urban Pavement Cracks“

iNaturalistThe Hidden Life of Urban Pavements CracksDid you ever notice the hidden life in urban a pavement cracks? The sand mounds built by ants or a wild bee? Ever looked more closely at the mosses or herbs growing between the tiles? We are a interdisciplinary group of urban nature enthousiasts and eager to learn more about the hidden life beneath our feet. We love to combine different perspectives - from ecology, the arts and the social sciences. Check out our work on pavement dwelling insects in Bruxelles here: https://resjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/icad.12689 ... as well as in Berlin: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11252-024-01569-3 And on a pavement crack in the city of London here: https://intellectdiscover.com/content/journals/10.1386/jaws_00040_1 In this iNaturalist project, we highly welcome photographic and anecdotal observations from pavement cracks in cities all over the world!

Some days we wake to find a silverfish (sølvkre) on our bathroom floor. Our neighbours have the same and asked the board if they could do something to get rid of them.

According to FHI they aren't really a problem unless it's out of control and they're eating your antique books and stamp collection. 😅

They're cool little insects though. Fast movers, shiny silver, fluid movements.
