New video for Patrons:
Let's Code Commodore PET 0x01: Hello World!
This time around we will start another, probably short lived Let's Code series. It will center around the Commodore PET, the first personal computer made by Commodore in 1977.
The video is accessible to all Patrons, even free tier members. So join up, no costs involved!
Can someone please point me to the Commodore PET 2001 / 3016 / ... memory map? Only finding the one for the 8032... Most interesting: Where is the screen RAM? But also everything else... :)

Commodore PET 8032 with a video problem. I tried the old trick of piggy backing a new RAM chips onto each of the four existing RAM chips. It's never worked for me before but surprisingly it did this time. UC6 removed, socket installed, new 2114 installed and all fixed.
Now to check the datasette ports, IEEE & User Porta and sort out the usual keyboard problems.
Another one lives.
Root42 posts videos about retro computer hardware, especially Commodore machines such as the Amiga, C64, PET etc. They also program for MS-DOS, modify Game Boys etc. You can follow at:

Can anyone recommend a #roguelike for the #c64 or even the #commodorepet? Period or modern, either is fine as long as it's fun.
I'm gonna throw this out there because, if not Mastodon... then where?
