I never listened to #Thiel directly before. However, after this weird hour of thoughts, I doubt that he has a clue what the basic #philosophy of the #Catholic Church actually is (e.g., redemption by others vs. oneself).
It seems to be the case that he's just a weird person who happen to take away over 15,850 average lifetime salaries(!) from our society to invest in very problematic stuff where a few #Billionaires profit from and certainly not the society or human race.
Derived from that, you could argue, that he is a candidate for an #AntiChrist, not some (also problematic) girl who wants to save the planet.

The UK government is sounding more and more like “oh won’t SOMEONE think of the children” and it’s making me very suspicious.
A limit on “screen time” is like a limit on “telephone”. There is nothing inherently wrong with using a communication medium that has a screen. Kids are communicating with their real-life friends online. It’s the predatory companies who addict them and feed them endless hours of “engagement” material that should be curtailed, not their users.
