Spider maps are #transitmaps that show routes serving a specific place. Routes radiate out from that place—sorta like the legs of a spider.
The thing about #alleys is that where a sidewalk intersect with them is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CONSTRUCTION than when a sidewalk intersects with a road.
Sidewalks + roads = #CurbCuts
Sidewalks + alleys = sharp or slightly angled curb that slopes across the entire sidewalk to meet the road
In other words, there are two deep, irregular slopes bracketing the alleyway that span across most of the #sidewalk.

When I was giving a lecture in Krakow, Poland, I was in a parking structure that had half floors. I stopped at a half floor, “half” expecting a short ceiling. But it was like every other level. 
Here's a nice little thing Transport for London is rolling out at bus shelters to help with #Wayfinding. I also used the 123 bus which runs *24 hours a day*.
#introduction i'm a colorful person. it will be an interesting change of pace to shelter under this gray scale umbrella.
