Well, today's walk would probably have been around 14.5km/9.0mi at a rate of about 9'15" per km and a lightly moderate heartrate of 107 BPM (72%).
But that's just a guess because it got rained out.

Ambling along for 14.6km/9.1mi for today's walk in 20C/67F temps. 9'29" per km and lightly moderate 106 BPM (71%). I think I'm running a caloric deficit, and my body is saying: "There is this much energy available, and this is the max exercise that can be sustained until home." Eat more, exercise less. Sheesh.

And there you have it. 23C/74F for today's 14.6km/9.1mi walk. A pretty brisk (compared to yesterday) 9'05" per km and a heart rate that was 15 less than yesterday at a moderately light 104 BPM (69%).
I'm thinking one should not count on an iWatch for accurate physiological information.

Ugh. I really struggled on today's 14.5km/9.0mi walk. It was 23C/74F, so not too bad, but it was really hard to do 9'28" per km. And the heartbeat was a whopping strenuously moderate 119 BPM (79%).
Ah, well. Tomorrow will be better.

The mission: Today's Walk
The temp: 23C/74F
The distance: 14.5km/9.0mi
The speed: 9'07" per km
The exercise: moderately light 102 BPM (68%)
The verdict: I didn't play golf, so it was a good walk not spoiled.

Starting the week with a walk. Today's was 14.5km/9.0mi in 17C/63F degree temps. A lackadaisical 9'06" per km with the old heart cranking out a lightly moderate 107 BPM (71%).
It must be some kind of exercise, since I haven't gained any weight lately.
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
Really wasn't feeling it for today's 14.8km/9.2mi walk even though it was a clement 12C/54F degrees. I dawdled along at 9'04" per km and managed to get the old heart going a lightly moderate 106 BPM (71%).
Turned out okay once I convinced myself to get started. Walking is good.
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
A gentle (17C/64F) for today's 14.6km/9.0mi walk. A relatively quick 8'49" per km, and an unusual barely vigorous 120 BPM (80%).
The velociraptors were a bit of surprise. That might have contributed to the heart rate.

#TodaysWalk was up to St Margaret Pattens in the City, by way of Burgess Park and Peckham's peculiar bollards.
Earlier in the week, I went to Sydenham Hill Wood to look for the elusive Monkey Puzzle but, having found it, failed to announce to an eager world that I'd done anything of the sort.
I can only apologise for that, and hope that this will make amends.
Well, the rain precluded today's walk.
No, biggie. There is always tomorrow, and it gives Chance (the iWatch) something to passive-aggressively comment on.

A nice and easy (8'59" per km) 14.4km/8.9mi walk today. A very clement 20C/69F degrees and a (at least it was in three digits) moderately light 101 BPM (67%).
Walking, it's cheaper than therapy.
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
Today's 14.4km/8.9mi walk took place in a pleasant 15C/59F temp. Averaged a not-so-fast 9'17" per km with a moderately light 103 BPM (68%).
It also marked the debut of the new Hoka Bondi 9s.
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
A little cooler today at 15C/59F for a 14.4km/8.9mi walk. I lingered at 9'14" per km and a moderately light 100 BPM (66%). Sheesh, I know people who have a resting heart rate of 100 BPM.
Last day for the Brooks Ghost shoes. Nice cushioning, light-weight, but the fit was horrible. Back to the Hoka Bondis.

Rain was forecast for the last half of today's walk, so I cut it short at 12.7km/7.8mi. A really slow10'10" per km and a why bother calling it exercise 95 BPM (63%). It was a warm 22C/72F.
It did rain for 3 km, but then quit so the last km or so was accompanied by petrichor, which was pleasant.
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
It was 20C/68F degrees for today's shortish (14.2km/8.8mi) walk that averaged 9'07" per km. That being said, the old heart was beating up a storm with a moderately vigorous 124 BPM (82%).
Yeah, it has got me baffled.

Well, in a preview of summer it was 23C/74F degrees for today's 14.4km/8.9mi stroll. A not so blazing, but not bad, 8'48" per km and a pretty relaxed lightly moderate 107 BPM (71%).
First day in cut-offs and a t-shirt.

As it's Good Friday, #TodaysWalk was cancelled and I have spent the day in timeworn fashion, morosely considering my buns and mulling the mysteries of other people's sins.
Earlier in the week, however, I wandered over to Brixton to check preparations for the Easter Egg Hunt, a tradition in which children perform futile fingertip searches of parks and gardens in the slender hope of nugatory, evanescent rewards, and thus prepare themselves for the World of Work.
Today's 14.4km/8.9mi walk took place in balmy 19C/67F temps. A brisk, but not too brisk, 8'49" per km, and a shocking
strenuously vigorous 132 BPM (88%).
I think Chance (the iWatch) has gone off the deep end.
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
At 12C/53F today's 14.4km/8.9mi walk was quite pleasant. An okay 9'00" per km average, and the old heartbeat was back at a barely moderate 105 BPM (70%).
Maybe the new shoe effect is wearing off, or maybe it was the later than usual start. Who knows?
#TodaysWalk #Walking #Nashville
Another rapid (8'50" per km) pace for today's 14.6km/9.0mi walk. A little nippy at 8C/47F but it got the old heart cranking away at a vigorously moderate 119 BPM (79%). 13 faster than yesterday for the same speed. Go figure.
