New digital archive just dropped with Bangor University Archives.

"There are over 530 items relating to the Pennant family’s sugar plantations in Jamaica within the Penrhyn Estate Archive. [...] The selection of records in the Penrhyn Estate Archive (Jamaica) Collection, freely available on JSTOR, preserve a detailed record of the Pennant family's centuries-long involvement in Jamaica and in the enslavement of African people - the management of their sugar plantations; the lives of enslaved Africans; the politics of colonialism and abolition; the post-enslavement history of the Caribbean; the wealth generated through the sugar industry; and the investment of this wealth across the agricultural, industrial, religious, political, civic and educational institutions of north-west Wales."

I would be hugely entertained and grateful if some of you would join the Spartan Mosquito Facebook group (link) and post some questions or comments about the Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech. E.g., "I'm in California and having trouble ordering. Any suggestions?" And if you have the tubes in your yard, share some pics of what is inside ("Is this normal? Just dead ants?"). Or pics from afar that show complete lack of mosquitoes near tubes. I would love to see how the company responds. Group also accepts anonymous posts. Pretty please. #SpartanMosquito #mosquitoes #facebook #mississippi #yeast #sugar #co2 #insects facebook.com/groups/3707834791

All schools in Spain will be legally obliged to serve fruit and vegetables as part of their lunches and fish at least once a week under new rules aimed at reducing the amount of fried and fatty food, and levels of sugar and caffeine in drink served to children.

people not on the bird app are missing out on a war between #MAHA conspiracy theorists who want to ban people from using food stamps to buy sugary sodas and various #MAGA megaphones who got paid by "Big Soda" to say that being able to use food stamps to buy sugary soda is a core constitutional liberty issue (there are no good guys here).

When was the last time that you took your cup of tea from a different perspective?

This is one of my ceramic coffee mugs.

It can withstand extremely high temperatures making it perfectly suitable for tea. If I would want to melt metal in it it would not be any problem {not really you can just put the molten metal in it}

On the link you can read a little about ceramics and about the power that they have when withstanding extreme Heat!

I'm not going to tell you that tea is better than your coffee, or that coffee is better than tea, I mean how long will you live, 90 years? then you're very lucky, 70 years? that may be about the average, 60 years? that means you're having a lot of fun, 50 years? that means you have had too much fun, whatever it is drink what you like, and be blissful in the moment just like me
