Thinking some more today about #Mastodon displaying posts (yesterday: aus.social/@kgoetz/11406720633 ), I’m realising Mastodon posts ( #activititypub in general?) match #email threads closer than they do interactive chat.
So really #Masto / AP posts should be displayed more as tributes to #FlyingSpaghettiMonster, #FSM , in cascades like His #Noodly Appendages (aka, Directed Acyclic Graphs).

Nothing like preparing a presentation for #TasLUG to ensure my mind will prioritise topics like this 🙄

@wdlindsy I’m curious how these dangerously insecure, self-righteous, superstitious, tyrannically dogmatic bigots plan to “prohibit” the beliefs — & lack thereof — of others. 🤔
They may think that in our cyber-connected world they can prohibit writings, lectures, broadcasts, websites, comedy (a world with no #RickyGervais, #BettyBowers, or the #FSM & his noodly appendage? Unthinkable!) & thus eradicate all ideas, opinions, thoughts & beliefs they fear, but they’d be wrong… as usual.
