I just had a post reported by "mastodon.online"

Which is odd because that is a domain, not a user, and there is nothing wrong with the post at all.

What is going on? Is this some new kind of spam?

@aubreyjones, I'm obviously going to dismiss this but can anyone tell me why there isn't a user who made this report? Why is it just the domain? It feels very OFF.

I just refused a Follow Request that I was trying to accept.

And can't find the account that requested.

Ok, so, I can’t change the access settings, it’s locked into private access, which is ok I suppose, but.. I’m only able to pull photos out once. The second time I can access the album but it hangs on adding them to posts. And then subsequently it just fails to access the album. It seems to reset if I restart, but just does the same thing again. And yes I did uninstall and reinstall. So… #mastodon #mastodonhelp

#duckDuckGo browser help!

I'm trying to use Duck Duck Go browser as my default. I've been using Brave. Both Brave and Opera allow a search of open tabs. Using DDG search for a website on mobile brings up the option to go to an open tab. Why can I not find the option on the desktop browser to see a list of open tabs and search within them? What am I missing?

Anyone?

They have an Mastodon account on a legit instance... for all I can see. I tried two apps and the web client. To no avail - no search shows the account.

Does anyone know what's the issue?

Edit: Just noticing their posts are really old. But they're out there.
That #Mastodon shows only a fraction of the content that's in the network frustrates me to no end.

Pour les nouvelleaux ici: chez Mastodon, il n'y a pas d'algo qui réarrange votre fil d'actualité, ni des posts (pouets, toots) qui s'infiltrent chez vous sans avoir aucun lien avec vous. Aimer (fav) un pouet ne le fera monter dans aucun classement. Pour donner de la visibilité à un pouet cool, repostez (boostez) -le!

C'est aussi une super manière d'aider les un.es à découvrir d'autres.

Is there a way to perform logical operations on Mastodon searches?

For example searching for @randomuser AND #randomhashtag ?

In the ideal world, at least AND, OR, and NOT.

#Mastodonhelp needed. I recently encouraged my wife to join. She's an author and would like to connect with other authors. She joined the Authorhelp.social instance but that's now decided to close so she needs to migrate but where? It's not been the best start to her time on mastodon Do you know an instance where authors hang out?
