Python donkey & travel buddy @timothy and I are ready for an exciting day 2 of conference talks and discussions at #EuroPython! And Timothy is still SO proud of his speaker badge that he earned by sitting on the podium during my talk yesterday
#EuroPython tip: if you want to just browse the schedule for a single day, without needing to swipe down and up and getting lost on what day you're on, here are dedicated links:

Excellent lightning talks at #EuroPython, including:
the now-traditional, mandatory meta-lightning talk about lightning talks, by Sebastien Williams-Wynn
essential tips on saying no -- "if the answer is no, answer immediately. if it's yes, wait 24h" -- plus the pictured estimation advice
a fun rhyming talk on the perils of float: 0.1 + 0.2 and friends
cool signal processing by Stanley Langa turning secret audio into images
Wow, what an awesome first day at #EuroPython! Travel buddy @timothy is exhausted but still happy about the badge he got, and after a nice dinner with a small group of old and new friends I'm now also calling it a day and am joining him in my hotel room to relax and just read a bit. Well, after whipping up some slides for a possible Lightning Talk
But awesome day, successful talk, great feedback, and someone from the audience sent me a great summary too!

Yay, I got my own badge now thanks to the awesome volunteers at #EuroPython! And as I was on the podium with Gina I even got a Speaker sticker
There’s gonna be an open space on Python and complex applications tomorrow at 10am in room 223+224:
“Is Python suitable for writing maintanable (complex) software?”
I’ll try to be there & as far as I am concerned, Betteridge's Law of Headlines doesn’t apply! #EuroPython
@timothy supporting @foosel to talk about shitty people. #EuroPython
