In other words, with bamboo you can compress somebody into almost a ball, but you don't have to. With a ring, if the person is tall, trigonometry will make a compressing force, even if that is not the intention.

I still don't like the friction of rope in the bamboo, because I am not really very strong, the non friction of metal rings is more merciful to feather weight me. And i like the concentrated attention that a ring sort of leads to. In any case, I use bamboo and rings, without fanaticism, both good tools with their specifics.

In any case, what I salute here, is that around 2009 you would be told if you wanted to model for shibari you would have to endure everything and take it like it is. If you did not like pain or had body issues, it sucked to be you. Now it became common practice to adapt ties in order to reduce pain and acomodate body conditions..

Inclusion is like sport. One can always find excuses, or solutions. Team sport.
