binjr v3.22.0 is now available! 🎉

There is now an option to further refine the behaviour of empty tab panes, introduced in the previous release.
This release also addresses a couple of bugs and brings all dependencies up to date (including #OpenJDK 24).

binjrbinjr - A Time Series Browserbinjr is a standalone time series browser. it renders time series data produced by other applications as dynamically editable charts and provides advanced features to navigate the data smoothly and efficiently.

It's amazing to see the default packages in #Fedora are so expansive nowadays. #OpenJDK, #QEMU and a myriad of container helper utilities.

It's all getting to a point where Fedora is as feature complete as a distro can get. This is also why I say it's the only real contender against #Ubuntu, and that it's already caught up and passed Ubuntu in terms of legitimacy and design.

haraldei@baldrian% ./build/bsd-x86_64-server-fastdebug/jdk/bin/java --version
openjdk 25-internal 2025-09-16
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (fastdebug build 25-internal-adhoc.haraldei.openjdk)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (fastdebug build 25-internal-adhoc.haraldei.openjdk, mixed mode)

I guess that's a good start!

Managed to finally get the OpenJDK mainline to build on FreeBSD. (AMD64 only so far, others may work, but not tested.) The debug build is of course excruciatingly slow to work with, but it seems to load even graphical apps just fine. Here illustrated with OWASP Zap loading on the build on FreeBSD 14.
