The last days I spent configuring my #OSSC to get the best capture quality out of my #PS1.
It's quite challenging as the PS1 supports multiple resolutions based on the game. Even the same game sometimes outputs different resolutions. For example both the #GranTurismo titles output 320x240 during races and 640x480 in the menus.

I just finished the modification on my OSSC (rev. 1.6) to make it compatible with 1.xx firmware. 1440p and shadow masks are the main take away. And it’s looking great!
Not a mod for everyone, since it requires soldering on tiny SMDs, but extremely satisfying to be done with it.
