Cleaned up the geraniums and pruned them a tiny bit and put them in the grow tent. These were reduced to gallon pots for the winter this year. Last year I lost some leaving them bare root. It's just too dry for that and I don't have damp cellar.

Lettuce is doing ok, maybe too much light seems a bit burned on some parts of the leaves. Verbena still blooming, saved Red Marconi still too cool to do much or it needs fertilized.

If you live in Ontario and like leaf miners, Charley Eiseman would be grateful for pics of ones living on ornamental geraniums. Wohl dem der Geranium "Rozanne" im Garten pflegt.
Kaum eine Staude hat so eine lange Blühphase.

Die Blütezeit reicht von Juni bis quasi zum ersten Frost, und die Blüten werden sehr gerne von Insekten angeflogen.
Die Sorte wurde im Jahr 2008 zur Staude des Jahres gewählt, die Ursprungsart G. wallichianum ist in der Natur im Himalaya zu finden.

Nominally #Geranium x pratense 'Johnson's Blue'. I say nominally because the genus hybridizes and self-seeds prolifically, and this cultivar is widely grown and has been for a long time - it's a very agreeable perennial; so it's highly likely that somewhere along the line the ancestors of this plant out-crossed. If you google the cultivar you'll see that every picture looks slightly different.

On a black background, a single simple flower with five petals, grading from white in the center through magenta to blue-violet. It has delicate venation in white and in a darker purple colour, and dark stamens.
