Time for tapering. A short run on a beautiful morning.
#Cph42 in T minus 6 days. See you on the starting line.
#EveryRunHasAPurpose - and this May, my runs even more so.
This month, I run to raise awareness and support the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Society. There are 19,146 persons in Denmark that live with Multiple Sclerosis, and my brother is one of them. I see how much good the Society does. So my goal is to raise 1,914 DKK and run 191.46 km.

This was my 10th consecutive week with a half-marathon in it. Now I'm winding down to do the Copenhagen Marathon (#Cph42) in T minus exactly 10 days.
This was an absolutely beautiful morning for #running. Wherever you are, I hope this day will treat you well.

to redeem the work of fools
upon the meek the graces shower
it's decreed the people rule

A nice morning run.
The highlight was that I, by chance and utterly unexpected, ran into one of my best friends and his family. I run by his parents-in-law's house every now and then, and this morning they arrived for a visit at that exact moment. We don't see them nearly as often as we would all like to, so this was a wonderful surprise.
#Cph42 in T minus 15 days. It's getting close now.
The longest run of my training program for the Copenhagen Marathon, #Cph42 (in T minus 21 days).
This run was a major mental win for me! The first half was in hard rain and head-wind, and it had been so easy to just turn around and run home. But my coping strategies worked, and that is definitely proof of progress.
My fingers were so cold and wet I could not take photos out there. So here are just two from my camera roll.
I did the "Grateful 8K Run" in the #NikeRunClub app this morning. Key sentence: "be grateful for your community."
So let me say this, for the record: I am grateful for the community of running (and non-runners) here on Mastodon. That includes you. Thank you!

A long morning run. A dress rehersal for the #Cph42 Copenhagen Marathon in T minus 29 days. A nice way to start the day.
Today's run also meant crossing 2,500 kms since I took up #running again on April 1, 2023. (That's purple level in the #NikeRunClub app, for those who care.)
Enjoy the weekend, people.
Nothing remains
We could run when the rain slows

#Cph42 in T minus 30 days. One month!!
One question resonated with me after today's run with @coachbennett and Evan Jager (in the #NikeRunClub app): how does your #running help you be the best you can be?
