The problem with most of what #darzi proposes is that it is eminently sensible but profoundly unexciting - and offers little opportunity for #grift . #publichealth and #preventative measures work well but do not attract support from influential people - unlike #digitisation which tis seen as a 'magic bullet' and has been so for at least a quarter of a century ! The temptation will be to throw effort and money into #digitisation and pay lip service at best to the other stuff.

How can we make digitalisation sustainable?

The Berlin group of the FSFE wants to show an answer to this question at the Umweltfestival 2024 together with @bitsundbaeume_berlin and @be4foss . Come to our stand to learn more about the sustainable use of computers with Free Software. We will also have information about Upcycling Android, Public Money, Public Code and the Fediverse at our booth.
