You can thank `bootc`, `/usr/lib/bootc/kargs.d/`, and @fiftydinar for your new ability to include kargs in your native container image.
Just make sure to update with `bootc` instead of `rpm-ostree`.
Check it out!

As I understand it it's basically pointless trying to create an ISO from a #bluebuild package (based on latest and/or f40) due to https://github.com/JasonN3/build-container-installer/issues/127 which makes the only way of installing being to install #universalblue or #silverblue first and then rebasing, which gives a sub-optimal experience on a fresh installation (eg due to flatpaks and automatic updates (for silverblue) not being automatically installed). Can anyone confirm? Did I miss something? #fedora
So the #silverblue signing key bug has really messed up my workstation. The suggested fix didn't work (newer images wouldn't boot, same error). Even reinstalling my #bluebuild image by generating a new iso on #github doesn't work. Really annoying and doesn't reflect well on #fedora at large. Considering my options - might try to make a new bluebuild repo but this sure is tiresome.
Fedora 40 came with a lot of announcements, and not all from Fedora! In case you missed it, here is a roundup of all the news related to Fedora Linux 40 from us and our open source down streams @UniversalBlue, @bluebuild, @ultramarine, @centos, and more! Oh, and the news from @slimbook and @frameworkcomputer :)

The newsletter can explain it better than I can:

It's basically a normal Atomic Fedora 40 KDE Plasma install. But with extra goodness baked in/out-of-box.
Wanna make your own to share with friends/family?

I actually re-based from Kinoite Beta 38 to Bazzite Beta 38 forever ago.
I haven't had to rollback since.

Seems best to have a separate drive for windows dual-boot.
I don't use windows myself.

Time to formally welcome @bluebuild to the Fediverse!
This is the project that makes it easier for you to make your own custom images of Fedora Atomic Desktops.
If you've wondered how to use an atomic system while still being able to customize and tinker, this is another good place to learn more!
#BlueBuild just released a new caching update! With these changes all you need to do is move your recipe files from `./config/` to `./recipes/` in your image repo. More details can be found in my blog post
The world of Fedora Atomic grows with **BlueBuild**, a spin-off of @UniversalBlue that is a newly independent project!
If you've been wanting to build or maintain your own custom image of Fedora Atomic Desktops, this may be another way to explore that interest. Instead of editing a containerfile, you work on a recipe that is then transformed into a containerfile to make the process of getting started easier.
