Zamiast tego, chętnie podpiszę petycje o zmianę regulacji prawnych. Tak, żeby te zmiany były poza kontrolą tych korporacji.
@panoptykon @edri let me voice my concern here myself then:
I am surprised that at this point in time – after decades of this kind of work, and with the results of a lot of it being rolled back within days by Meta (fact-checking, hate speech, etc[1]) and Google (AI weapons[2]) – we're still "petitioning" the technological giants.
I would much prefer a regulatory push, instead of asking those making money on causing harm to kindly stop.

@panoptykon @edri I would go as far as to say: not only does this seem to me to be wasted effort, it would sem to me to be actually harmful.
It lets these companies introduce small changes on their own terms, which they get to revert whenever they like – while at the same time disarming any push for regulatory changes that could, perhaps, take this decision out of their hands.
They have proven time and again they are actively, intentionally malicious; that's how we should treat them.
