@dominicstucki will try, though I'm just a random with no technical knowledge and limited crossborder rail experience (well, sort of... I've done part of this route last year with a sightseeing stopover in Lyon and some hardcore sleep deprivation between Zurich and Budapest). My only contribution to the tag so far has been rambling about fictional rail trips in #eurocinema (so far they make it look way too easy ). Time to change that as Man in Seat 61 gave me crazy ideas (no surcharge so far!)
