“An AI version of Gayanne Potter's voice is being used on Scotland’s trains
– but she has told Sky News she had no idea until a friend called her”
Is this even legal?
@Akshay This reminds me of the beginning of blogging, when a rather known writer started to write column-like pieces on his own site, and his piece was cut-and-copied on a lifestyle site, citing him as writer. His site was not copyright-protected, as such, but he made a fuss immediately and the lifestyle site apologized and didn't do it again. It was the beginning of finding out these freedoms and liberties and restrictions. I think with these kinds of things people should cry foul as well.
