Useful words: 呆気、享受、淑やか、不朽、錠、勿体無い。
Burn: 9 items per day. I had made lots of mistakes in past few days so I'm not surprised I missed some burns. On the other hand, I clearly didn't remember all of these items so it is good to spend more time on them!
Grammar is going very slowly and that's alright. All focus is on #wanikani!
Hallo fedinauts.
My child (university age) is teaching themselves Japanese and has got to the point where they need a qualified instructor to teach grammar and spoken language skills. They understand basic conversation and have taught themselves at least 750 kanji.
Does anyone have contacts for native Japanese speakers who know how to teach Japanese as a foreign language? We've looked locally, so now we're looking for someone who is happy to teach online.
Ah, it is probably one of the words every tourist visiting Japan has to know... right?

Burn rate: 9.09 items per day. A bit higher than before, and honestly quite a short level (just 11 days).
Grammar has been going a bit tough as I'm getting lots of things mixed up lately , but still making progress!
My main italki teacher has bumped the lesson price quite a bit, but I'm not sure if I know a way to communicate to them that this isn't working for me without seeming rude.
I guess I'll be taking lessons bi-weekly instead of weekly and find a substitute teacher at lower rate.
This is a bit sad, though.

Burn rate: 8.64 items per day. A bit of slower burn so I've been accumulating slightly SRS debt. I made a brief calculation and it seems that it might take around 7 more months after learning all level 60 items until I burn everything. Can't wait to get to that point! Imagine having "0" in Apprentice/Guru bucket?!
Picked up 怪獣8号 yet again, and this time it became much easier to read! Knowing kanji sure helps
Btw, now that I got a physical copy of 零號琴, I can begin posting the progress photos! This is much larger book than 朝比奈さんと秘密の相棒 (and quite a bit more complicated) so I’ll likely be going at a much slower pace.
Regrettably, I understand roughly 30-40% of what is written, and connecting dots is often harder than it was in 朝比奈さんと秘密の相棒, but nonetheless 頑張りましょう!
Fun word of the day「稲妻」 - “flash if lightning”. Kanji are literally “rice plant” and “wife”. Time to research etymology!
