There are some missing features as the upstream project is still in beta, however we feel with the sustainable funding model the project has, it's only going to get better and better.

The main features that are coming soon that you need to know about are:
- No document import (you'd have to copy and paste)
- No sub-folders (it's one big list of documents)

It's early days and the project is still in beta but we have published an early version of a @coopcloud recipe (git.coopcloud.tech/coop-cloud/) that makes it easier to deploy Docs for smaller organisations (the La Suite deployment has apparently approx 15,000 users).

We are offering managed Docs instances with full support provided by us. Hosted in the EU by a worker owned tech co-operative.

No bosses, no CEOs and we pay all our taxes.

We're thrilled to announce our new project:
docs.coop/

Building on the great work of Suite Numerique (docs.numerique.gouv.fr/home/), we are offering an opportunity to be part of a new collaborative Docs platform as a service, that provides an ethical alternative to Google Docs, Office 365, Notion etc.

Docs is the result of a joint effort lead by the French 🥖 (DINUM) and German 🥨 (ZenDiS) governments which represents a paradigm shift in the way open source software is funded.

We also have extensive connections with tech co-ops around the world so pretty much anything you can imagine can be built and maintained as entirely outside of the surveillance capitalist system as possible.

We can't always offer as cheap prices as the megacorps but I'm sure you know why that is.

We what can offer is a sustainable alternative sector with thousands of highly skilled workers.

No CEOs, no surveillance, no venture capital. No bullshit.

#workercoops are a vital part of us organising towards a better world based on solidarity not profit.

@ajsadauskas @cohentheblue @LibertyForward1 @theropologist Consumer #coops violate #WorkersRights in the same way as #capitalist firms. Worker can't alienate their responsibility for production to consumers any more than they can to capitalists. #WorkerCoops are the only valid firm structure.

Another thing the left should have advocated is collective ownership of property in ways that are compatible with markets such as 100% land value taxes and common ownership self-assessed taxes

In short, we do open source infrastructure, websites and support. Everything from Wordpress front end to supporting a whole office of Linux clients.

Some of the shiny new things we have been playing with recently include static sites (using Payload CMS for a slick user content creation experience), Passkeys (passwordless login with a hardware token or phone) and continuing to deploy applications using @coopcloud
