It was a warm afternoon. I had my fly rod with me, but I didn’t fish much, just enjoyed some quality time with my family by the river 
Some lovely ancient wood pasture in Coquetdale on the edges of the Cheviots in North Northumberland,. This is not the genteel parkland stuff further soutb, but far nicer IMHO, and not manicured. Some epic old trees in there.
