"Foreign tourism has fallen off a cliff.

This is a $100B domestic industry largely concentrated in NYC, southern Florida, southern California, and Las Vegas.

If Trump isn't stopped from his path of destruction, the US will be in deep recession by the summer.

The Luxon government has announced it'll chuck another $13.5m into tourism. They seem determined to stick with a quantity over quality approach and intend to target "China, Australia, the United States, India, Germany and South Korea."

Meanwhile, our tourism capital Queenstown is discharging effluent into the Shotover River and can't cope with the existing demand for wastewater.

But sure... bring in more tourists.
