#Transport for #London Freedom of Information release:

A recent FOI request sought details on the "Red Bus Moquette," including any variants and specifications related to vehicle interiors, especially connections to the New Routemaster bus design. The request referenced a previous document mentioning the moquette and asked for any additional information held by TfL. #TfL responded that, aside from the already published document, they do not hold any further information or records relating to the Red Bus Moquette or its design influences. The request was received on 10 June 2025, and the response was issued on 3 July 2025.

"Sadiq Khan has savagely responded to Robert Jenrick’s viral video where he filmed fare dodgers on the London Underground. While accepting fare evasion is an issue, the mayor of London reminded the shadow justice secretary of the “consequences of the cuts in policing and TfL made by his government”. He also mocked Jenrick, suggesting he was an attention seeker for publishing the video, which has gained nearly 15 million views on X."

To celebrate my two year anniversary here is one of my favourite photos from the last two months.
All my photos are taken on my phone, and I do not edit them, except, perhaps, on the odd occasion, for size. I do not use filters or make them brighter, darker, or more colourful.
And, mostly, I look for angles and lines, particularly on the diagonal.
All comments welcome.

This is the sweeping curve not of a station in the wild outback or the desolate prairie, but of Chiswick Park Station in London, an outpost of the District Line. The picture is also lines, four of them, roughly diagonal, all radiating off the very centre point of the right hand edge, where there is a glass and concrete waiting room. The lowest diagonal, exiting at the very bottom left hand corner, is the platform, grey and industrial, that sweeps past the waiting room and almost joins to the top section, the roof that does its best to protect the platform from the heat of the sun and the prickling of the rain. The highest diagonal, curving up from just in front of above the waiting room and the strip lighting, suspended beneath, exits the picture at the top left hand corner. Between these two edges is a sideways V, pointing in to the waiting room, a sliver of blue and billowingly clouded sky to the top, the opposite platform in the middle, empty, and the tracks, beneath these, with their sand and gravel filling, and a smattering of tumbleweeds, curving gentle round the edge of that opposite platform until they slide out of sight behind it. But I cannot follow, for curving round, atop them, approaches my train.
