So my #Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen9 randomly turned off today and now it just does this. LED next to the charging port turns off then briefly blinks orange, goes back to white and then it blinks the esc, f1, and f4 buttons.

Occasionally it turns on and mentions a bios recovery or i even get to the boot menu but tends to quickly power off again.

Anyone knows if that is salvageable or what the issue might be?

Going nutty, anyone know of a free (preferably open source) remote support app for android? I'm on a Linux PC but need to support an Android device in another location.

Love RustDesk but it has to be side loaded and I'll be damned if I can get remote input to work on android.

Tips anyone?

Running the Mac OS 26 beta (I know, I know), but running out of hard drive space. Turns out the reason is that half of my drive is full of "System Data".

Internet searches are not very helpful in terms of how to reclaim this space. I've tried booting into safe mode and back, but wherever these files are isn't visible to anything like DaisyDisk to check further and/or persuade them to go away.

Does anyone clever have any thoughts? #macos #beta #techsupport
