What I did in the last weeks (part 1):
As my daugher listens to her a lot these days, I took some time and dug deep into #TaylorSwift and her complete discography. The only songs I knew where the ones my daughter listened and sang.
I must say, I am genuinely impressed. Sure, it's pop. But listening to all of the albums really shows a lot of interesting things.
First off, the first album is country. Each song written or co-written by a 15 year old, not only that is impressive. But it has some killer songs and killer melodies.
The second has some Avril-Lavigne-Vibes, but still killer melodies.
And so it goes on. Until the "1989" album all of the records are packed with melodies and catchy songs.
The danceable stuff after that album is not really my cup of tea, but still has some hits. "Cruel Summer" is genius.
10/10, can recommend. ;-)

Taylor Swift isn't letting up, after winning another slew of awards, after thanking people who helped her with her art, after thanking fans, Swift went on to say: “And if you are over 18, please register to vote for something else that’s very important coming up: the 2024 presidential election.”
Couldn't be more pleased.
Swift's discomfort with Trump lying about her has lead to much good.
