Week 1 of an artstyle : Made a banner in the artstyle I want. This is a mockup of what I want the ingame stuff to look like.

Just pushed my (hopefully) final update to the Minerva Labyrinth demo before Next Fest, in which I overhauled all of the music, replaced some bad SFX, and improved the overall mixing (plus another round of assorted bug fixes, as usual). I am a lot happier with my audio now, so I really wanted to get the updates in for Next Fest.
I'm about as ready for Next Fest as I can be, I guess. Hopefully nothing critical comes up.

Day 5 of art stuff : Made a city icon. Planning on animating it at some point if I get the time.

After staring at that for 30 minutes I watched Last of Us and wrote a list of the bigger buildings I'd like so now I have this and I'm stuck again.. quick progress then back to procrastination
Gonna do a small thread to try post through my empty canvas syndrome. Started my day blankly staring at this part of the starting island that I've reserved for a small town.
Day 4 of artstyles : Ditching pixel art for now. Like the paper cutout style a lot more for prototype. Interesting aesthetic.

I liked a couple of others too, but I like this AND can do some version of it.
iPhone app is working as a game controller. It connects to the driver on the Mac and sends HID input reports as the button states change. Games are playable.

A while ago now I was a finalist at Bit1, a student game competition with my game, Kuulapeli. While I didn't win, my game got a special mention for being "The Best Meme Game". Took a while to announce this, as they sent pictures and made a blog post about it very recently.

In a few simple steps! 
Nr 1. Start a spreadsheet 
Nr 2. Start collecting data about YouTube and Twitch channels using free tools such as: SullyGnome, SocialBlade, or even YouTube Advanced Search. 
Look for channels that played games in the same genre your game is. And fairly recent ones as well!
