What’s really going on with shipping? You might have read that the ports are empty and no more ships will be arriving after such-n-such a date.

I gotta tell ya, there’s more than a smidge of bullshit in those posts. I’m not saying shortages won’t happen. I’m not saying corporations won’t be price gouging as much as they can.

It does look like the number of ships and how much is loaded on them is *down*.

Trump asks people in the US to wait and is ofcourse blaming Biden. I don't think people will believe him. Also the economic downturn is just beginning, in a few days/weeks companies will notice that containers from China are not arriving, more store shelves will be empty, etcetera.
