When copying 36GB of pcapng files from my server via Tailnet with scp, the rate was 1MB/s for each file. On the contrary, rsync was blazing fast with 1GB/s. What a significant difference.

I kind of want to start an alternate #SCP cannon where something happened in the 1970s that sort of... nerfed most of the anomalies and entities.
Like, some unspecified K-Class reality restructuring event happened, and suddenly all the anomalies either stopped completely or became shadows of their former selves.
And maybe the Foundation ceased to exist, too, because of this, but there's one site that WAS an unimportant test site trying out new experimental reality anchors and they were spared from the changes, so they still exist in this new altered timeline universe.
And now they ARE the Foundation, and are woefully unprepared (and severely underfunded) but also, most of the stuff they are called in to Secure/Contain/Protect is barely above mundane.

En eigenlijk vind ik dat hét allergrootste issue dat naar voren komt in dit rapport is dat maar liefst 72% zegt dat ze een conflict zien tussen mensen zonder en met integratie achtergrond.
Dat is toch eigenlijk een cijfer waar je koud van wordt?
Je maakt mij niet wijs dat 72% van de mensen, zelfs maar bij benadering, daadwerkelijk een echt conflict hééft langs die as. Dus je ziet dat de respondenten een enorm aangedikt verhaal neerzetten op dit vlak.

En een ander belangrijk verhaal in dit onderzoek is dat mensen een laag vertrouwen blijven houden in de politiek en het verbeteren van de politiek zelfs als één van de belangrijkste opgaven ván de regering zien.
Het is op het eerste gezicht wat vreemd dat mensen dan op de PVV gaan stemmen, of de BBB of het NSC, maar ergens snap ik dat mensen daarmee, totaal onbeholpen misschien in uitvoering, maar ook wel wat wanhopig op zoek zijn naar iets dat beter werkt.
Ik vind die specifieke uitkomst dan ook wel erg voorspelbaar gezien de ongemeen heftige propaganda die al anderhalf jaar lang wordt rondgestrooid.
Wat ik zelf wel een getal vindt dat te denken geeft, is dat 44% van de respondenten aangeeft dat je vreemden met grote voorzichtigheid moet benaderen omdat je maar nooit weet hoe ze reageren. En twee jaar eerder was dat nog 37%. 
En de tevredenheid met de samenleving daalde van 81% naar 73%.
Dat zijn best flinke dalingen.
