A friend of mine shared a turntable with me. What my friend had forgotten is that the turntable is belt drive which means that I have a unusable turntable. The brand is quite reputable but the turntable is of course End of Life decades ago, meaning that no original parts are available for it including those pesky belts. The element is a moving coil
The cables of the element are so dry that they broke off their joints
