I'm preparing for a visit to the American Sign Museum, and this is one of the exhibits I'm excited to see 'in the flesh'.

Gilding samples such as these were used to talk to customers about the many visual effects that can be achieved with the medium of gold leaf on glass. And, in this case, it is a set of 28 samples from a master of the craft: Raymond J. LeBlanc. His book, Gold Leaf Techniques (1973) remains the definitive text for anyone learning to gild.

Wenn man gerne was bestimmtes mit dem #iPad machen möchte, danach googelt, und dann bei seiner eigenen Frage in einem Forum landet, als man das gleiche 2017 schon machen wollte.

Damals war die Lösung: Kein iPad verwenden.

(Und die üblichen Anschuldigungen von #Apple-Fans, ich hätte keine Ahnung, nur weil ich kein allerneuestes iPad habe und keine iCloud verwenden wollte.)

Wie kann ich mit dem iPad (Air 2) #Samples/#Einspieler abfeuern?

Dabei geht's nicht um Drums, sondern eher um Atmo… Vogelgezwitscher, Meeresrauschen, etc.

Also ich stelle mir das so vor, dass es halt so Buttons auf dem Display gibt, und wenn ich draufdrücke spielt in dafür hinterlegte Audio-Datei.

Ein Problem dabei ist, dass man ohne iCloud ja keine Dateien auf sein Endgerät transferieren kann. (Eine NextCloud hätte ich greifbar.)
