Spring is here. No more freezing weather, so I can refill the water tank and plumbing, and start the spring cleaning.

All winter, I've been filling a 5-litre water dispenser for drinking water. I've been using the marina's shower and sink to keep me and my dishes clean. Now I'll do that on board again.

The water tank has a stainless steel flange and cap that unscrews. A standard garden hose (or hose pipe) fills the tank.

To fill the boat's water tank at Canal & River Trust water points I use a garden hose (a.k.a. hosepipe) and a Waterways key.

It's now so cold, an unrolled hose laying across the towpath will stay stiffly coiled. Despite my verbal warnings, someone got snagged.

There's little traffic, but when it comes, it's couples from each direction, plus a cyclist, all 5 crossing the hose at the same moment.

Among the notable things that can be seen in Uruguay is the refusal of the Administrative Litigation Court (the highest court in matters of public administration) to admit a #scientific publication as evidence because (attention) *it is in English*.
Equally or less notable is the rejection of the appearance of two of its authors for *not being impartial*.
This responds to a request from the legal team of the Ministry of #Environment and #ose (Administration of public services for #potable #water among other things).
