Christian Peach<a href="https://podcasts.homes/@rebootpolitics" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@rebootpolitics</a> Seit ich vor ca. 30 Jahren meinen C64 verkaufte, bin ich zwar kein Gamer mehr, aber was ihr über das Ende von Game Two als Fernsehsendung berichtet habt, hat mich mitgenommen und aufgeregt.Der öffentlich-rechtliche Rundfunk vernachlässigt seinen Auftrag, wenn er aufhört, die Gaming-Szene, -Industrie und -Kultur journalistisch zu begleiten. Ihr habt ja korrekt festgestellt, dass diese Industrie inzwischen größer ist als Musik und Film. Und dass Computerspiele inzwischen offiziell als Kulturgut anerkannt sind.Der ÖRR vernachlässigt schon lange seinen Bildungsauftrag, was Computertechnik angeht. In den 1980er und 1990er Jahren gab es noch TV-Sendungen, die versuchten, IT-Kenntnisse in die Masse zu bringen. Auch Schulen schaffen das nur sehr lückenhaft. Das Ergebnis ist eine Bevölkerung mit miserabler Medienkompetenz auch bei den sogenannten Digital natives. So sind die Leute den Angeboten von BigTech schutzlos ausgeliefert und haben kaum eine Chance, z.B.
