Gravity Grinch<p>I asked ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and deepseek to flip a png that contained text and then flip the text to be readable again. Deepseek can't handle images, Claude did sth crazy &amp; useless output, Grok similarly, Chat just flipped the image but not the text. <br>Can this be done? How?</p><p><a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/ArtificialIntelligence" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ArtificialIntelligence</span></a> <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/ImageProcessing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ImageProcessing</span></a> <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/patternRecognition" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>patternRecognition</span></a> <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/Grok" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Grok</span></a> <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/Chatgpt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Chatgpt</span></a> <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/deepseek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>deepseek</span></a> <a href="https://astrodon.social/tags/claude" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>claude</span></a></p>

esko<p>Sellaisella mukavalla asialla lähdin soittelemaan, että artikkelini "The Affectivity of 'Pants Science': Speculative Clothing, Disco Elysium, and Pattern Recognition" on vapaasti saatavilla vähän rumana ei-ladottuna versiona, mutta kuitenkin! Jos siis Harry du Bois, William Gibson, FALN-modulaarit *SIKA* ja muutenkin aatteelliset vaatteet kiinnostavat niin pyydä rarea zip-tiedostoa minulta tai surffaa <a href="https://researchportal.tuni.fi/en/persons/esko-suoranta/publications/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">researchportal.tuni.fi/en/pers</span><span class="invisible">ons/esko-suoranta/publications/</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/DiscoElysium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DiscoElysium</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/PatternRecognition" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PatternRecognition</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/Kirjallisuudentutkimus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Kirjallisuudentutkimus</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/Pelitutkimus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Pelitutkimus</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/Affektitutkimus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Affektitutkimus</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/SpekulatiivisetVaatteetOnMunAatteet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SpekulatiivisetVaatteetOnMunAatteet</span></a></p>

DoomsdaysCW<p>So, one of my "Aspie" super-powers is pattern recognition, as well as the ability to remember things I read -- whether in a book or online (not word-for-word, but the gist). </p><p>Pattern recognition helps me recognize patterns of abuse by governments and corporations -- to indigenous peoples and people of color, to wildlife, to natural resources, etc. Unfortunately, this "pattern" has been going on since Ancient Greece, when <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/colonizers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>colonizers</span></a> like <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Odysseus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Odysseus</span></a>, eyed lands occupied by those he viewed as inferior -- like women, or those who were different -- as being prime real estate, and ripe for seizing! </p><p>Always remember the words of George Santanaya: "Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it."
